Ms. Crystal is a spoken word artist from Augusta, GA. She is a member of Glenn Hills High School Class of 1992. She attended University of West Georgia after graduating high school. Ms. Crystal is a spoken word artist from Augusta, GA. She is a member of Glenn Hills High School Class of 1992. She attended University of West Georgia after graduating high school. In 1997, she graduated from West Georgia with a B.Sc. in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Welfare. She served the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) as a case manager through various non-profit and state agencies. After 13 years, she started her graduate school studies in Social Work at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. She graduated from USC in May 2013 with a Master of Social Work degree. She is currently holding a master level social work license in Georgia and South Carolina.
Ms. Crystal started performing at a very early age in church by reciting bible verses, commercials and acting in plays. She continued acting and reciting poetry in middle and high school. She participated in first pageant in 9th grade and continues to compete occasionally. In the early 2000s, she started middle eastern dance classes. In 2019, Ms. Crystal became a recording artist.
My parents and ancestors have been my biggest inspiration. My parents' love for music and my ancestors' storytelling have impacted my art as well their spirituality. I inherited their work ethnic, too. I love sand volleyball and taking long walks. I love my community.
